For Incoming 9th graders
What is Freshman Prep Day?

It is the day that prepares your student to enter high school.

Freshmen Orientation:
- 8:00a.m.-12:00p.m. in the New Gym (Orientation, no parents)
- 12:00p.m.-1:00p.m. G-Crew Nachos (for freshmen only, no parents)

PLUS:

• Make-up pictures for ID cards and Yearbook in the Old Gym
• PE clothes/locks in the Old Gym – CASH ONLY
• “Tentative” schedule pick-up in front of cafeteria
• Purchasing in finance office or online at http://grossmont.guhsd.net, under parents tab, (ASB sticker, PE clothing, Yearbook).
• Locker assignment outside front office at attendance windows (lockers are FREE, but students MUST be assigned one).

Parents: Be sure your student arrives no later than 7:50 a.m. Orientation is for 9th graders ONLY.

• Parents, you may make purchases in the finance office (8:00-12:30pm).

Freshman schedule errors (Front Office): 1:00-3:00p.m.

CHANGES TO YOUR SCHEDULE DURING ERROR DAY
ARE FOR THE FOLLOWING REASONS ONLY:

• Study Hall
• Missing Periods
• Completed course and passed during summer

• Save time and don’t stand in-line to purchase your items!
• Buy it on-line at the Grossmont Web Store, NO FEES, http://grossmont.guhsd.net, under parents tab,
• make sure to print your receipt.
• No ATM’s on campus.
• If you buy your items on campus bring your order form filled out
• with cash or money orders for the total amount.
• No personal checks accepted.
