New News:

Circle of Friends meeting at lunch today.

Grad Night: Attention all seniors going to Grad Night come to the ASB room to pick your bus!

Student Parking Clarification:  This message is to clarify the locations on campus where students may park.  In the Senior Lot, the only students who may park there are those students who have purchased spaces #1 through #60.  Nobody else may park in that lot.  In the Junior Lot, any student with a parking permit may park on a first-come, first-served basis in the student parking area past the district reserved spaces, but not in the visitor area or district reserved area.  The only other area that students may park on campus is the JV baseball field off of Milden Street.  Any student parked anywhere else on campus is subject to a citation and/or being towed at owner’s expense.  If you have any questions, please see Mr. Whiteley in the office.

Camp LEAD:  The last district-wide Camp LEAD is June 6-8th. Applications are available in the GRC. There are a limited number of applications and only 10 campers will be chosen! Hurry and don't miss this opportunity! Applications are due by Friday!

Girls Soccer:  ALL Uniforms for Varsity, JV and Freshman must be turned in by Friday to Coach Neill - room 865.   LAST CHANCE before Coach turns in fines.  AND YES, this means you Seniors too, check in your closet, laundry or under the bed for those uniforms you thought were souvenirs...  NOT!!!  So any Girls soccer uniform Frosh, JV or Varsity must be in by FRIDAY!!! 

GIRLS GOLF:  If you are interested in play Girls Golf Next year please come to a informational meeting THIS FRIDAY at Lunch in room 865 - Coach Neills Room or contact Coach Neill at grossmontgolf.com

Foothillers:  Don’t miss out on this opportunity to show us your “Natural High” by submitting either a poster/photo art, a writing piece, or a video to the Natural High contest.  See Mrs. Dann in the Counseling Office.  The deadline is May 31st.

Attention Sophmores and Juniors:  Are you interested in taking free welding classes during the summer?  Stop by the Career Center for information.

Perfect Attendance:  If you have had perfect attendance for all four years of high school.  You may be eligible for an award.  Please see Mrs. Phillips in the attendance office for verification.

Girls Cross Country:  There will be an informational meeting about Girls Cross Country today, May 23rdat 3:00pm in Room 105. This is for anyone that may be interested in joining the team next fall.

College of the Week: Did you know that Hawaii Pacific University has a strong choral music program. The International Vocal Ensemble is a select group of no more than 28 undergraduate and graduate singers. As a performer in the ensemble, one is eligible for a scholarship award every semester the singer is in good standing.

Final Due date of the year:  All Library books are due back to the Library by JUNE 1st, and yes, that is less than 2 weeks away!  This is the final due date for the school year.  Any books kept beyond this date will accrue a fine of 10 cents per day.  It adds up quick so don't delay.  We are open until 3:30 everyday.
