College of the Week: Most Americans are surprised to learn that US students can apply for the FAFSA and use the federal student loans to attend the University of Glasgow. They are quite unique in the UK in that they have a dedicated staff member who works exclusively with American students submitting the FAFSA. There are also some scholarships available to American students wishing to study at Glasgow. The Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship currently offers students £5,000 per year for the duration of their degree. Details can be found on their international scholarship page.  The University of Glasgow offers more than 900 undergraduate degree program combinations. With such a comprehensive range of subjects and a flexible system of learning available, you’ll be sure to find a degree to match your strengths and interests. You don't have to restrict your choice of subjects when you begin studying. This gives you time to try at least three subjects at the university level before declaring your major.
