REPLACEMENT FOR GREEN CARDS WITH NO EXPIRATION DATE
The USCIS announced a proposal that permanent residents carrying green cards without expiration dates (issued from 1977 to 1989) may need to replace their current cards. We expect this proposal to become a law.
If you have a green card with no expiration date, you should contact the IRC to get a new one as soon as possible. Your ability to work and travel may be affected!
